Tiny subnotebook, like a tablet? Tablets aren't my thing. I'll save the why for a more appropriate thread.

Heated seats aren't my thing, either. I worked on a Jeep Grand Cherokee whose driver had the seat heat cranked all the way up. After five seconds of that, I thought my back and ass were going to catch fire. Heat from the cooling system is enough for me.

No, like a small notebook computer with keyboard, DVD burner and way more connectors than modern notebooks. These days it might be considered a thick notebook just under normal size. Back then it was tiny. 10.4" screen, fit perfectly on those tiny airplane fold out tables. And totally fanless - no noise whatsoever.

You don't like heated seats? I get everything heated I can find! Heated seats (including back seats), heated steering wheel, heated back window, heated front shield, heated side mirrors. I think even the windshield washing fluid might be heated.  :D  :gimme:

Not at all! I "run hot," so the warm air coming off the heater core is beyond sufficient for me. Usually I'll shut the heater off if it's been at full power for five minutes.

I do miss CD-ROM drives in portable computers, though.

Yes, I'm not that hot. I usually just have the heater set on a temperature, and use the heaters until that is reached as they are faster.

I admit I thought the heated front shield would be a so-so gadget feature, but that has become one my favourites. I have never had to scrape ice off the front shield with this car. Wait two-three minutes and run vipers - perfectly comfy and lazy!  :D

As a side note, if the weather is really cold crap and/ or bad rough conditions, I will put on some more clothes inside the car and then turn the temperature down a bit. That is just a little precaution in case of accidents: You might get stuck and it might take time before anyone comes around, so if crap happens at least it takes you a bit longer to freeze to death while waiting for rescue.

That's something I hope to never have to deal with. My impending move will greatly reduce that possibility.
