Badge (upgrade) request: Time Lord Level III

This request is overdue, but that's probably just as well, as my taste in watches is changing. So here are six watches that are presently in my collection.

At left is the G-Shock DW-5600E that Mrs. FX got me for my 40th. I rarely wear it now, as it's too sentimental and has nearly been lost once. At right is the GD-400-1 that was a Christmas gift to myself last year...but my tastes have changed.

These two were acquired in a trade with ToolJoe. At left is a clone of the Casio F-91W. It'll be used as a testbed if I decide to try watch modding. At right is a Timex analog, which I believe to be a President. It's kept in reserve just in case I need a watch for a more formal occasion. (My idea of getting dressed up is putting on a shirt with sleeves.)

And finally, we see where my tastes in watches have moved. At left is a Casio MRW210-7AK. I was fortunate to find it at the Wal-Mart nearest my house at a substantial discount. At right is a Casio MRW200H-1BVKC. It arrived less than three hours before I posted this.

And there ya go. While G-Shocks are great watches, I have come to really appreciate the simplicity of an analog watch. One of these days I'll move beyond trying on an automatic and actually buy one.

Congrats on the badge.  Some nice EDC watches, plus a pretty one for formal occasions.  Is the G at the base of the GD-400 a switch for the light?  I started out with analogs.  Carried digital for a few years.  Bought a dual digital/analog and so far, haven't worn it out.  Or lost it.  Next watch might be any of the above types.
Best wishes.  G

Late edit:  I just noticed the F-91W doesn't have CASIO on the case.  I wondered why you called it a clone.  G

Congrats on the badge!  I have mostly analog with a few digital sprinkled in just to keep it interesting.
May the best of your past, be the worst of your future.
