Pocket dump challenge january 2025
on: January 06, 2025, 11:31:55 PM
Challenge rules: "Post your pocket dump photos then challenge two more members who must post their pocket dump photos within 24hrs for you to get the badge."

So there you go. Consider yourself challenged and let us know what's in your pocket today.

My pocket dump looks like this:

[ You are not allowed to view this attachment ]

-Wallet (Koski leather wallet made in Finland)
-Keys (Two car keys, because we change the cars on a daily basis with my husband, the one who drives our son to a day care and home gets to drive bigger car. Then there is a house key, vic midnite manager and a keychain my son made in a day care. )
-Victorinox (today companion)
-Leatherman (today arc)
-very unexpensive head lamp ( I have several of these scattered around the house, in both cars and in pouches of my winter jackets.)

I am carrying a Leatherman lately instead of a SAK.  Here is the whole dump.  Best wishes.  G

:like: both of your pics. Thanks for sharing.

I think I got my first badge earned, but please show me more. How is your pocket carry different during summer?

At summer time that keychain light is my only flashlight (and phone of course). During most of the year my pocket dump lives in a jacket pocket. When it's too hot to keep jacket with you even for a reserve, I use purse or backpack for my edc items. That's just because women's clothing often doesn't have reasonable size pockets if at all.

Since you asked, I don't change from summer to winter.  Same all the time.  I might put something like the Leatherman in a coat pocket instead of pants, but that's all.
I only carry one knife.  Generally, a Vic Trooper except when I am doing a challenge that requires something specific.  Then I carry only that.  For the upcoming Combo Edge Challenge, I will probably carry one of two items.  I don't carry any sort of backup.
Be sure to apply for a badge.  Best wishes.  G

Don't forget to submit for your badge.

Since I get to work from home now, my pocket carry doesn't change much with the exception of replacing whatever knife I'm doing a challenge with, to my trusty Victorinox Super Tinker.  If I'm stepping out I also carry my wallet, handkerchief, and eyeglass cloth.  My wife carries her, flashlight, knife, and SAK in her purse for the same reasons you would.
May the best of your past, be the worst of your future.

Congratulations on your first badge! I'll post a pocket dump photo tomorrow. My carry doesn't really change with the seasons, save for adding gloves, hat, and jacket.

Well, I obviously didn't get to the pocket dump photo. I'll say instead that I'll post one soon.

"Soon" turned out to be nearly two months later. Nevertheless, here are some pocket dump photos. The first shows what is actually in or on my pants. I couldn't quite get it to look right because of the blue pen and/or my phone screen being on.

And these weren't in my pockets, but I never leave my property without them.

I'll bring earbuds and a 3.5mm to USB-C dongle if I'm going by vehicle, but otherwise this represents a fairly standard carry for me.
