in all fairness there was a time when i thought that all plier based multitools were called leathermans.....but i never made a video of it :rofl:

To be fair there was one useful bit of advice about only carrying it on your belt when you're not using it.
I used to come here a lot.

I'm one! There are some really interesting Gerber tools out there, you should definitely get a MP600 or something if you're curious.

If tool companies were judged on one model, Leatherman would have gone under after the Flair, Vict would have been sunk with the AutoTool or SportRatchet...  every company has a tool they aren't proud of.  Gerber just made several versions of it because Wal Mart buys them by the ton.
