nordic pocket saw multitool

I have recently seen ads for a Nordic Pocket Saw Multitool.  Does anyone know anything about it?

My knee jerk guess would be something rebranded Chinese. Whether it is good or bad is hard to tell.  My overall experience with Chinese multitools are ok to great quality, sometimes with less than great knife material, and often fairly heavy. If it is expensive chances are generally higher of it being good.

Take a look for something identical at Aliexpress or Amazon? There might be some reviews there. (I usually skip the top and bottom reviews).

They are a legit Swedish company that manufactures in Sweden and China. Their pocket chainsaws are highly regarded, but the multitools look like LM and Gerber knockoffs, China made.

Well, not rebranded but Swedish design then. Interesting. Are they good?

Edit: Visiting Ali there are some "MugiNush" and an unmarked brand that has very similar tools for the most part. Handle holes and scissors are different, but I would not be surprised if they are made at the same factory.

Can't be worse than average China stuff, like Gerber Suspension etc. Not cheap @ €89, you can get a used Surge for that.

Akkurat, Vidar   :D  You can probably "design" your own brand of MT by point and clicking a different toolset. Same factory very likely.

Hm. The MugiNush with extra bits is about €17. Either that is a knockoff, it is backdoor factory sale from unauthorized production runs, or the Swedish design is only the parts that are different. Hard to know. I guess someone just have to buy both and compare..

The MugiNush actually get good reviews so there is that. But what you consider good for €17 might be somewhat different from expectations at €89 I guess.

That looks like one I had that was branded as "A-Tech".  Mostly carried it as a work/beater tool.

It was pretty decent, though still definitely cheap (especially in the saw and file). I recently replaced it with Ozark Trail's Multiforce--which is a MUCH better tool.
