Great pic and use, Antti  :like:

Here's a new Surge I picked up during the Insider sale.  I bought several tools for Christmas gifts, but I decided to keep this one - I didn't have the latest generation of Surge in BO without any engravings yet      New tools always get their inaugural bath in Tuf-Glide   :tu:  For those keeping track, it didn't come with a sheath or extra bits.

I presume this is a safety/roadworthiness inspection. Is that correct?

For those keeping track, it didn't come with a sheath or extra bits.
Lack of a sheath wouldn't really bother me much. Factory sheaths almost always ride too high for my liking. And exclusion of a sheath may even get me to try my hand at leather crafting. Or I'd just pocket carry (but a Surge might be a little much for that method).

Yes its yearly here in Finland when it goes throught safety inspection you can drive 1 year (few exceptions on brand new cars) and then need to go inspection again. I had broken spring on otherside and other had too loose shock absorber, both problems i didnt even know that was broken so its great to have inspection every year.

Yeah, it doesn’t bother me either.  I never use sheaths other than to store tools, and there are much better options for that.

Tuf-Glide

Opinel-USA tacitly endorses Tuf-Glide for Opinel knives, by offering it for sale on their website.   :salute:
