Good source for replacement parts?

Hello all,

I'm looking for a replacement plier head. I have a flick to open Gerber Multi Tool (5142721 5212844) I was gifted by my grandfather when I went to Basic Training in 1994 that has a lot of sentimental value obviously. The flicking action is the ultimate fidget spinner before that was a thing.

I snapped off one of the plier jaws almost as soon as I got to my duty station, spoiler alert they are not meant to twist with. I've kept it in a drawer and do still use it every so often but I'd like to put it back to 100% and give it to my son-in-law who is headed to Basic Training soon.

I see the site "dependable expendables . com" sells parts scavenged from retired tools and that would be perfect but they don't have the plier heads available. Are there any other sites like that? Also what is my MT called or model number to make searching easier?

    Sounds like you have one of the original Gerber Multiplier tools.  The Gerber gurus call them Mister Pinchies.  Someone on here will know if Gerber still has parts and can repair it.  Best wishes.  Gary

For older and/or discontinued Gerber models, I tentd to look into Ebay and buy a for-parts or damaged tool to scavenge. I'm not clear if you have a Multiplier or a Flik, so that I can assist.
Edit- I looked the number up, and its for the early type Multiplier, in black oxide; there are several examples in Ebay as of now (10 April, 1204 hrs in the Caribbean).

Appreciated, mine isn't black but that's good info to just find a donor.

Gerber is sending out an MP600 Basic as a free warranty replacement, which is nice and appreciated but the goal is to fix my knife back to working condition. A parts knife will have some patina on it which is more fitting in this case and what I'm looking for.
