Has anyone been able to see the mens Hockey games live?

my station(s) (nbc and their affiliates msnbc, cnbc, usa) cancelled todays game with Usa vs Finland (curling was on instead!) and I couldn't/didn't see it. I heard Usa slayed them!

the last Usa game (vs Switzerland) was taped delayed and played at the same time as Canada vs Russia grrrrrr!

I smell a rat

I'm sure the Gold will be live! best ratings! I think I am now boycotting NBC and their affiliates, and removing them from my TV-tuner.

Go all Teams, booo NBC I ain't watching >:(

remember what NBC did to the movie "It's A Wonderful Life"?!~ they killed it too.

there are streaming links for literally all events.

http://www.vancouver2010.com/

there's a drop down box on the right side called "Watch Live Olympic Coverage Online" find your country there. Over here in Europe I've been using the eurovisionsports feeds... fantastic, no commentary mind you, just ambient sound, which is 10x better that a lot of the dumb and or bias commentary you normally get.

That it was. Some of the best hockey I have seen in a long time, and I am not just saying that because Canada won. I would have been just as happy if we got the silver.

Phenomenal hockey.

The funny thing is that I heard one of our commontators say that in Europe we count Golds only for medal ranking, and the silver and bronze only in the case of ties.  It's only in continental North America that they total all the medals won.

There are merits to both systems IMO.  You don't want to disregard all the effort that went into getting those silvers and bronzes, but you'd be hard pressed to convince me that a country that won 21 bronzes had done better than a country that had won 20 golds (for example).
Be excellent to each other and always know where your towel is.
