What's your EDC flashlight?

Hey guys, I was just wondering; what's your EDC flashlight?

For me, it's the LM Serac S2.. It is simple to use, and it's decently bright!

Right now for me it's a Photon II on the keyring and a Maglite 4D cell in the house...when you're a Grandpa,your money tends to get pulled in other directions

I've got a keyring LED, about the size of a Solitaire, cost me $9.99.

That's the only one on my all the time.

If I'm expecting dark, my latest torch is a 2xAA effort, roughly the size of a AA maglight. (this one around $24)

I've still got my hundred-odd dollar fancy CR123 heavy aluminium, splash-proof torch, but never really use it

Neither of the cheapies are focusable or anything cool, and give off a wide, glary light.
Perfect for looking around rooms and interiors, but probably a pain in the arse outdoors where you want to see further.

Hi there LM!

This one is my EDC since 4 days ago.

Ultrafire A10, Q5, single mode, HA-III finish, GITD clickie, 1xAA or 1x14500. Very much brighter than L1D when using 14500.

That sucks jzmtl. A little battle scars gives SFs some character. And you have an excuse to get the new L1X when it comes out.

I carry either a 2AA MiniMaglite LED or a Surefire 6P.

During the winter when it gets dark early here, I carry a combo MagLite/multitool sheath with a Terralux upgraded MiniMag. I'll use that sheath when I'm going out at night also, but during the day all I've got is a Fauxton on my keychain

I'd like a small 1AA light with similar or better output than my Pentagonlight MOLLE light. I'd EDC that light, but the anglehead design doesn't fit in a pocket too well. Any 1AA Fenix suggestions?

Blackhawk / Night-Ops Ally PL-3 in my works laptop case, Fenix E01 on my keyring (soon to be replaced by a Leatherman Serac S1).

At home, I'm using the Serac S3 as much as I can - it's a very cool thing

Corrugated, Have you looked at the L1D or the LD10? They are both excellent 1AA lights!

I also have only heard good things about the Nitecore D10.. I don't have one (yet), but I will soon!

I don't EDC the Surefire; it's too big. It is my main go to light while I'm in the house, especially if I have to go outside at night. It's throw is amazing on high!

For EDC my light would have to fit comfortably in my jeans pocket; I'd rather not have another sheath on my belt, and something small like a 1AA is all I usually ever need.

I carry a Fenix E01 on my keychain.

I also have a modded Dorcy Super 1 watt CR123A based light in my laptop backpack for cubicle warfare

In the evenings, I could also be carrying a Fenix L0D Q4, a different modded Dorcy Super 1 watt (I have 3), a Gerber Infinity Ultra, a Nuwai ALX-33K22L or some combination of them.

Used to be a2AA led maglite but gave that to a pals kid who was scared of the dark(yes I am a big softy) these days it's a Tesco 2AA might not be the best but it's bright and cheap to run
