Just sent my Skeletool in...

for warranty repair.

I was working on a frostfree hydrant, twisting a pin that needed to be bent over when I torqued the pliers jaws out of alignment.  I was a little disappointed, but at least they didn't break.

It did get the job done, though.

It's good you sent them in.  They should be sent back soon and fixed.  If Leatherman USA warranty is anything like up here in Canada I've been very happy with the warranty service I have received.  Everything sent in has come back either repaired or replaced.

I was misinformed when I said that the LM warranty was ahead.. They were completely shut down for two weeks, and they are entering tools that they received on Feb. 24.. My two tools got there on the 26, so I should have them back soon...

Dang! That was fast!  Just received my Skeletool back today (2 weeks door to door!).  This appears to be a completely new tool.  The blade has no marks on it (unlike the old one).

Once again,  Huge  :tu: :tu: :tu: and a couple    to Leatherman.

Leatherman is a topnotch company.   :salute:

Well see, here's the thing...

I was using the pliers head as a lever to force a jammed rod down a bent tube.  For some reason, torquing across the pivot seemed to have buggered it up a bit.  Nothing broken, it's just that the jaws were a bit askew.
