Hope I'm not trying to teach grannie how to suck on an  egg but I have always found the Vic serrations a lot easier to sharpen and I certainly am not  even close to an expert

Official Notice:

I have some supplies coming from Rotokid.  After a few goes at 91 mm mods, I plan to buy one of the OHT/classic combos and I WILL try to mod it, adding at least the file from a Locksmith.

There.  I've said it.

Expect an order in a week or so.

Leave the dents as they are- let your belongings show their scars as proudly as you do yours.

Why do these deals always come up when I've already spent my SAK money for the month

I agree and personally like them a lot. Vic did it right. Also, just as a test, I filed off the serrations in about 10 min. and got a perfect profiled blade.

How does one sharpen a serated edge versus a straight edge?

Is there an idiots guide to sharpening serated edges?

All I currently have for sharpeners are the Lansky Deluxe Croc Stick set and the Smith's Two Step/Lansky Quick Fix type of sharpeners.
