European buy would be great. Dudes, took me ages to find cultpens to get ANY Sharpie, for they´re not available here. Now I have some fine tip black Sharpies, nice stuff. But if someone has a source for the full Sharpie range, especially the super fat ones, shipping to Europe at a reasonable price, please let me know.

Hmmm... There is a bookstore just down the corner from where I live now that does carry some sharpies (I know because I got a keychain one from them). I'll drop by tomorrow and ask what other ones they have.

Shame about the poor reviews on Amazon thus far... maybe Sharpie will pick up on that and fix the fault.

Well it is made in PRC.

Who wants to bet it wasn't designed there?  ::)

Sounds like it is something that should be tried in the hand before parting with any cash.  :-\  The reviews of a couple of people I don't know aren't enough to turn me away from this yet, but I'll admit my enthusiasm is a but blunted.

So if the UK doesn't have Sharpies, what do they have?

I can't imagine life without Sharpie.

We have them, just not the complete range.  I wanted some Micro Sharpies and had to import a pack.

We have quite good permanent markers, but not Sharpie brand here. They are Edding brand, but basically the same. Wide range of colors and super-fine point to extra-broad point. The main difference is that Edding are metal tubes, not plastik like Sharpie. I like the Sharpie shape and grip better, but Edding are OK.

I picked up one at walmart($5.88) a couple days back and overall I like it.  The only thing that bugs me about it is the clip.  The stainless steel body & cap, screw in ink cartridge, and laser etched 'Sharpie' logo are all fine, but the clip looks like a cheap chromed piece of pot metal stamped with 'CHINA' on the side and attached into the side of the cap.  Looks like the clip was a poorly conceived afterthought to the design... Time will tell how it holds up.

Do you have a picture of the Edding markers?

Medium sized Edding are about 15mm, there are thinner and larger versions too. For they´re blunt and stable they all can be used for a Kubotan too.

Not as sturdy and heavy as I thought it would be. But not bad for the money.

I've thought about getting one of these because the clip keeps breaking on my other Sharpies.  Is the clip stronger on the SS version?

The clip is just like any other Sharpie. I don't see it being much stronger.

I bought one a while back, and I EDCed it for a few months. Frankly, I was disappointed. There's not much to like about it over a regular model. Just a big, thin-walled steel case with a sharpie screwed inside. That's it really.

It looks nice. It feels huge in the hand like writing with a toy zeppelin. It is a squeeze to fit it into a pen holder on a lot of bags. It feels a little like a soda can.

I was hoping for the Zebra F-701 of the Sharpie world. This is not it.

Back to EDCing a Sharpie Mini with a lanyard or a Sharpie Industrial. Now if they would just do an Industrial Mini..

Same here, very disappointed by it. It looks sturdy but it's not, just very thin sheet metal with all plastic mid section. I'm willing to bet it's not much if any stronger than a regular plastic sharpie. Consider one of these cost the same as a pack of plastic sharpie I'd stick with the latter.

The height of stupidity ! My local branch of Staple/Bussiness Depot has the pens , but not the refills . Oh well !

I enjoy the marker , and as it is special to me , I don't lose it or lend it to others . This has saved me a small fortune !
