I have tons of respect for the 600 series. I have heard many good things about the Diesel, but don't have one because I am afraid of the flat phillips. However, I'd say just about every butterfly opening Gerber I avoid like the plague.
Fan of the Leatherman mini-bit driver and the Vic backspring philips.

The MP800 is meant to be great.

I seem to have accumulated rather a lot of Gerbers recently, and for the most part I like them. I don't think quality is an issue with any of them tbh, although I have caveat that by saying that I don't use any of them for "heavy" tasks.

The Flik, annoys me because it could have been a really, really good tool, and it 80% is, but those drivers  ::) They let it down terribly.
I used to come here a lot.

That's how I feel about it TBH.  I pretty much loved everything about it bar those drivers which are just so pants that it ruined it for me.

The MP800 (assuming I'm thinking of the right one) is OK - but I definitely prefer the slidy pliers tools from Gerber. They offer something different. If I wanted a traditional style tool, I'd be going for a LM every time.

I used to come here a lot.

I don't have an MP800, but I do have the smaller version, the MP600, and I think it's a fine tool.  I thought quite highly of it when I got it, and even more so after I carried it around.  I don't EDC it only because it is mint and discontinued and getting harder and harder to find, and the collector in me is terrified to have anything go wrong with it.

The MP700's nice, but the tweezers blow to say the least!  :D The plier head is different than the 800's as well..

Oops... I meant MP700.... guess I am used to typing 600 because there are so many variants of the darn thing and no one talks about the 700 anymore!

Plus the plier head doesn't stay in, combined with the open bottom sheath everytime I go back to louge to rest the head is almost extended all the way out and dangling outside.

I see two good things about the screwdriver. I like how it pops out a tiny bit with the lock releasing button. Please let me know if any other multitools does that because I love it!  The others is that I can conformably put a good force into it because of its short length and the tip being close to a center. Also I rarely strip a screwhead because I stop after feeling the tool itself is flexing due to a torque.  That means it reached its maximum strength and I go get something bigger and better.
I understand that the tool has some design flaws and issues but I really like it overall.
