Hi,
Long time lurker and just signed up here. I was hoping signing up would give me the option to disable animated emoji as i have vision issues and am not seeing it anywhere as an option. I'm hoping I'm simply overlooking it as it makes the site exceptionally difficult for me to read and I really like this place!
Is there an option for this that I'm missing? If not, is there any way to add it as an option?

It's not an option that I know of but we will absolutely look into it.
I wasn't aware it was a potential issue for people with vision issues, but now that we are aware of the situation I guarantee we will look into it.

Welcome to MTo Midnite Watchman.
There might be an option in your Browser to stop playing gif images.
Something to google for...

Thank you. Yeah, it's usually an affection option and i always have that option selected so it was strange to me!
