We are suppose to get some more rain here starting tonight :facepalm: :D Perhaps a chance for snow and up where you live is a much better chance for it than here :ahhh With you being more use to it I am sure you are already prepared for it though, MadP :cheers:I might be prepared but I’m in no mood for having to go out and clean up after it! Heck it’s already mid January and I haven’t had to clean up anything, it would be cool to make it through the year!

My grandfather and I flew from Arizona and went to Disneyland, we were up first thing in the morning and at universal studios it was freaking cold, so we ran to the gift shop and got sweatshirts to stay warm during the tour..

Kinda, since it’s blowing sideways.. but since it’s such a fine snow it’s not building up, I’d say we’ve only gotten about an inch since it started and that was like “supposedly” 10hrs ago, so, if it keeps up like this and it’s only suppose to snow till 8pm, I’d say we'll only get a max of 3” total..
To top it off it looks like that real light stuff so no need to break out the snowblower, just a quick time around with the shovel or even broom! Knock on wood..

Luckily no, todays the “large load” one of two times a month, the older kid will drive us to the store so we can get a lot, carrying this much would be nuts! Me and the little guy went out to shovel the sidewalks, well, there’s more then 4” and as cold as it is out there it’s nasty, especially with the freaking high winds! So after shoveling all the sidewalks trying very quickly, me and the little guy came in and the Mrs gets a warning call saying we’re in a weather warning and all vehicles have to be off the street, so I had to go back out and clear the whole driveway for the older kid, so me and the Mrs went out to start the snowblower, and as soon as I finished the kid pulls up, time to go shopping, then on the way home he ends up stalling twice, one right in the driveway, only problem is it’s a stick shift and it’s up hill so I had to try to push the car as he’s trying to gun it, only thing was it kept going backwards and was running me over, I slid a good 5ft!
Yeah I’m soar, yeah the bad backs feeling it, but worst of all is I’m not in shape and trying to do things quickly puts a toll on those lungs, and this cold weather doesn’t help, neither being asthmatic! So since the grocery’s are put away and nothing else needs to be done I’m taking a shower and going to flop on that bed watch some tv and RELAX!

With all this cold weather and having to go out and clean up the snow I didn’t have my hat, normally it’s in my heavy coat but it wasn’t, it also wasn’t in the closet, so I thought I lost it, :(
I kept thinking just where could it be? And with this older age you think of something and your like yeah gotta be there, then you look and notta,, :( then it hit me, the older kid had to do something outside and it was cold out, yeah yeah, he borrowed it! So I messaged him and he’s like I never! Then says check here,, sure enough, look what I found! Ha ha..
Yeah that looks like your basic beanie, but it’s a military one thats 100% wool, and it keeps you warm in the coldest temp cause wind does not cut through it! And now I got it back! :tu:

Thought I lost my Wave a couple days ago. I'd had it clipped to the pocket on my hooded sweatshirt, came back from feeding the sheep and getting the mail, and it wasn't there. Figured it was along the driveway or around the barnyard--neither place. Thought I'd lost it for good. Today, I moved a baseball cap sitting on top of a couple Harbor Freight catalogs, and there the Wave was! Turns out, I hadn't taken it with me to start with. Man, do I feel like an idiot.

Finally picked my dad up from the hospital today. Brought him to a rehabilitation center (Is that the correct word) to gain condition, strength.

Hope to take him home within 3 or 4 weeks!

We are still needing about $100 :ahhh
The donations are very important for MTO
As it costs a lot of money to keep a forum
And I am sure we don’t want the site to be over run with adverts
Or worse no more MTO
So please try and donate every month if you can
Every dollar will help to keep MTOs lights on
