I don’t know what is more impressive Steve. Really like the Ebony on your folder. The Gerber ain’t half bad either.
Just posted this in the what's your latest Gerber thread, but thought it belongs here too.A new-to-me black oxide Multiplier never opened from what I can tell with the seal wrap still on.Unsure when I will open it.
I have three of the original versions, but I've never seen the original version in black, much less still with the original seal! If it were mine, I would keep it sealed, but that's just my 2 cents. Enjoy it however you choose. T-A
One more Mr. Pinchy in route.
Nice customod! Are the scissors from Victorinox? If so, was there a lot of work involved in having them fit in the handle?
I just noticed this thread and happened to be carrying this modded Mr. Pinchy today. It was a strange specimen originally with the blunt plier head and both sides of the frame were identical with the same toolset in each handle, both stamped with inches.
Thanks for the pictures and explanation, customod; that's pretty ingenious!
OK, here are some more images. Basically it is a holder with a small knob on it that the Vic pivot hole goes in. Once the tool is inserted, the frame keeps it in place on the other side.
