Recommendation for reliable high drain 18650 and 18350

Hi, all.

Just want to get some recommendation for good reputable/reliable 18650/18350 for high drain/amperage usage(about 8A and 6A continuous respectively).  I've been out of the flashlight scene for a long while, and the landscape has changed drastically over the years.  Ideally I would love to find something protected, but reliable unprotected are also welcomed!
Merit Badges Participants shall carry and use one Soldier knife, the model of their choosing, for the duration of the 90 days and post a picture each day. Start a new thread and post a photo of the minimal sak (2 layers or fewer) for thirty (30) consecutive days. Participate and contribute in Challenge thread and post a photo of either an Axe, MT/Folding knife or Fixed blade (picked at the beginning of challenge) for thirty (30) consecutive days. Samsung 30Q's are good, a lot of BLF community use, I don't have any 18350 lights, but I got these awhile back for FW3A light:

These are flat tops, the have button tops too. If you are getting a light that requires high drain cells may need to stick with unprotected, but I'm not 100% sure, I think a lot of these lights may trip protection circuit on turbo. Check manufacturers specs for max battery length light can handle and if you can/need to use prot/unprotected

Samsung INR 18650 30Q 3000 mA (15 A)
Sony Murata VTC6 3000 mA (30A)
If you think 10 A is enough, look also Sanyo NCR 18650 GA 3350 mA (10A) or LG INR 18650 MH1 3200mA  (10A)

if you are looking for protected batteries I have had good experiences with KeepPower, it produces 10 A and 15 A protected batteries
I buy batteries from a Dutch seller but I know it also fast ships to the USA

I too read about VTC6, just not sure what kind of battery it is? Is It IMR or INR?  Btw, I've been away from the scene long enough to not know the exact difference.  Is INR more stable/safer than IMR?  I think it packs more capacity, but just not sure whether there is safety improvement.

The protected cells are indeed very interesting, I gonna ask my flashlight maker to see whether that's compatible.

IMR is a high drain and pretty safe chemistry. Not as high capacity as ICR, but safer.

INR is IMR, but with Nickel added. All the advantages of IMR, but slightly safer and slightly more capacity.

Safety:
INR > IMR > ICR

Capacity (I think):
ICR > INR > IMR

I am in processing of acquiring an Oveready Boss, but the batteries might be applied elsewhere which high amperage might be needed.

Normally 10A is enough for most applications but if you want to be safe go to Samsung 30Q
They are excellent batteries (see HKJ review)
