Is it the VSAKCS model as I figured it was? Sorry if you were misled. I bought 2 of the VSAKCS models NIB in the metal tin presentation boxes for $30 each including S&H. They are quite stunning knives. I plan on giving one away as a gift to a nephew.
Anyone?

Here is a picture of mine. Any help would be greatly appreciated. (Image removed from quote.)
The original reason for the slot goes way back to when there were more tin cans of meat products with a wind off strip of metal to open them and sometimes the keys that were attached to do that job were lost or broken.

I know you're not But please assume you've hurt my feelings and must now locate a really cheap Astronaut (you now inlay, engraving and all) for me
