Sadly I was more interested in nicking anything combustable at school, rather than actually learning anything :-\

It didn't help going to probably the most under achieving school in the south east either ::)
Give in, buy several Farmer's!!!!!!

I bought this in the 70's, my first SAK I think. Should have treated her with more respect. Very sad..... :(

Apologies to SAK lovers everywhere.

Good memory Dunc, I don't do British Blades anymore after a comment of mine (concerning bad parenting) got a thread stopped. A bit too handy with the lock button IMO.

Could of been CPF though. :-\  Don't remember the subject either. Though the snapped screwdriver (opening a tin of paint) rings a bell.

yes they can be a bit quick with the padlock.  In fairness i think Martyn, the owner, is ultra aware the he runs a site about how great knives are in Britain.  A fairly contentious issue as we all know.  I suspect that the mods are under instruction to shut down anything that might show the site in a bad light.  A good enough site that I still visit every so often but since I re-discovered my love of SAKs and multi's it really doesn't have that much to offer me.

That beat up SAK is awesome. It's good to see a well used(and sometimes abused) tool. If tools have souls you know it has to make them happy to be used hard.
