I used my Explorer scissors a ton this weekend opening packages and cutting off hospital bracelets(best use I've found for scissors), I used my blast to tighten up the hinges on my bedroom door.

I used the mini screwdriver on my Victorinox Huntsman to tighten the huntsman's scissors screw and then used the scissors for cutting my nails...

I just used the awl on the Vic Tinker to put a new hole in my belt. Better news, it was toward the 'getting thinner' end of the belt! :D

The awl worked really well for making the new hole. Very impressed with it.

With the CyberTool 34 today:

  • I took apart a ventilation fan for an industrial air compressor with a Torx bit (no pix)
  • I upgraded (quadrupled) the RAM in my computer with my Vic CyberTool 34.
In the last pic, I'm using the #0 Phillips bit by hand to start the screws back in, to make sure I don't cross-thread them with extreme torque.

Used the tweezers on my Micra to clean some lint & fuzzes from.. some inside part of our hoover... lol. Used its knife to peel an orange... the thing is SSSO sharp.

P.S. Used the file of the Micra to file my thumbnail, which broke when I attempted to take out the blade of the Style CS ...

That's a great play BTW.

I have used the awl on various SAK's to put new holes in belts over the years, works great!

The geyser inside my roof broke down this morning at 05h30.

I used my ST300 to open the side plates and the top.

Over the last few days, I've used a Spirit, Octane, MP400, Core, and my modified "Roundhouse" Kick to put together a bentwood hat stand, shoe rack, bed, pine dresser (one of those with the cupboards below and glass fronted display cabinet thingy on top), bookcase, coffee table, dining table ... and there's probably other stuff I've forgot.

All the tools performed admirably (Octane's package opener has done a LOT of work), but the start of the show has probably got to be an axe I got off Sparky at last years meet. Neither I nor either of the two joiners who have been round so far have had the intelligence to bring a hammer  ::) so the square(ish) poll of the axe has saved the day on several occasions - putting backs on the large furniture, pinning architrave round the boiler hatch, plus general "adjusting" tasks.

While I'd like to give a great story, my girlfriend didn't say what happened but I'd assume it got snagged in the dryer.

I don't often fix bra hooks,

but when I do

I used my powerlock wirecutters and pliers to make something like a crocheting needle for paracord out of a coathanger.

Used my Gerber MP600 Pro Scout to try and fix a garage door remote opener (it was DOA unfortunately), and later opened a bottle of apple cider to enjoy on the patio. Great day!

Used to jeweler flathead on my Leatherman Wave to disassemble the scissors on an old SAK Explorer, then used the diamond file to sharpen the scissors, and reassembled. I'm liking the Wave more every time I pick it up.
