Not going to be a pleasant, pain-free day..... That may take a while with such a small saw What's wrong with your knee? It's a slow day here at the store, plenty of time to get to cutting.... As for the knee, I injured it playing hockey many years ago. It bugged me some, but since I was a bit of a drinker at the time, I never realized just how bad it really was. I got sober and WOW! I was in just a bit of pain. My kneecap was knocked off center, and pinned under a muscle, grinding all the cartilage and the meniscus away. The first operation cut the muscle to free the kneecap and removed the frayed cartilage and meniscus. But, the muscles on the inside of my leg had atrophied, and the cap wouldn't stay centered. The second operation cut the top of my tibia and shifted it up, screwed into place, to try and keep the kneecap on center. Worked, but I'm still in constant pain. Physical therapy, injections - nothing's worked. Apparently I need a new knee, but insurance won't pay for it since I'm only 34 and will need to have the replacement replaced in 20 years. In other words, it's a total mess.Dang, that sounds like an ordeal then. So you'll have to wait 20 years or so before you can get a knee replacement? I sure hope not. If the most recent round of injections (anti-inflammatory and -arthritis) don't do anything, it's an appeal to the insurance company. The shots take about 8 weeks to take full effect, and I had the last one three weeks ago. We shall see. Today's another walking day.........

Used the MiniChamp today to open cigar boxes of new inventory at the shop. I was using the Rescue Tool but one of the customers looked at me funny when I pulled it out to open a box. I really am liking the 111mm frame right now but customers obviously aren't
I dig the 111mm too, and I really never thought I would. I'm in a similar situation though, in that I wouldn't pull it out at work unless I wasn't around coworkers. It's not exactly an office knife, and many wouldn't see a need for a knife at all. My position would probably get by with a smaller knife without many odd looks, but something the size of the 111mm knives is a bit much to most. It's a great knife though, and I like my OHMasterRT very much I still think I will end up getting a OHT NS so that I have the PE blade that I can sharpen.

I'd have never thought it would be one I like as I don't really do CE blades much. I think the sharpening thing is what gets me the least about CE. I have sharpening equipment for serrated. I think it's more the grabbing of the material when I'm cutting something that I like the least about CE. The 111mm CE blade is excellent to me though.
I used my Vic Sportsman to cut up some cheese

I used my Swiss Tool today to liberate several children's toys from the packaging this morning. I used the plain edge for the tape, the screwdriver for the screws, the serrated blade for the string/rope, and the pliers to bust a few zip ties. They sure do have some secure packaging now days.
The usual: I used my Crosscut to cut open a package with more MTs in it.
