I have the surge Tii which as you all know is like the wave except for the handles. I think the waves including the new ones have a better fit and finish

If you're going to get a Wave Paul, I'd definitely recommend the new version.

The old Wave was a good tool, the new one is a GREAT tool. Make sure you do plenty of research before you commit your hard-earned cash!

And so you should :D It being the best multitool EVER and all  :P

The Charge AL is essentially the new Wave, but with some premium materials and nicer handles - functionally they are the same. If you can stretch to the Charge, I say do it - the Wave is a (slightly) more affordable alternative.

Anyhoo - I'm in a picture taking mood at the moment, so here's some new Waves. Not as impressive as Bob's collection, but not too shoddy ;)

I'll stick some macro shots on the thread in 'Shutter Shop' too in a minute. Try not to drool on the tools though, as apparently they rust  :P

The configuration you got on the Ring Tool there is about the best I've come up with, although I went a bit easier on the skulls :D

Well, it's important at the end of the working day to look back and know you've achieved something, isn't it?

Was a day or two ago wasn't it :D We were the young and upcoming then and now the old and wore out  (well I feel that way sometimes now) ;)

Seriously though I added several great links to threads like this from over the years in the MT Encyclopedia in the LM section :salute: You should check it out Gareth as there are many great old threads in there and we witnessed and partook in several of them
