Doesn't everyone Beside's most the women I've been with have been cold and cutting anyway, so a Katana would probably be safer
I can pretty well assure you than anyone who come into my living space will be shot , sliced and diced or well and truly clubbed , or else bored to death .Chris

I'm not a huge fan of comparing MTs and SAKs to weapons. I spend half my time arguing with people that my EDC SAK is not a weapon but a tool (apart from the deadly mini-screwdriver of course).I don't feel the need to sleep with a SAK/MT in arms reach. There is usually one in the room somewhere (and its got a GITD fob on it usually) and thats good enough for me.

The reason we have such anti-knife paranoia in this country is that the general public think Knives=Weapons. Whereas I'm constantly telling anyone that will listen that knives are one of the most ancient tools mankind ever devised (beaten only by a blunt rock and fire) and without them we'd still be covered in fur and swinging through the trees.

A bit like mike then? The attitude towards knives is more relaxed here in NZ. I've taken my LM Charge into work on numerous occasions and the only people who have ever had any issue with it are the other Brits that work in the hospital. I really hope the anti-knife thing in the UK will change one day, I just don't see it happening. Sad really
