Anyone got any spare Tac Ties they're not using?

I'm sure I'll end up buying some from Heinnie but thought I'd put a request out to see if any kind person was selling theirs

If you need something permanent-ish, go for them, otherwise go for alice clips :/  
Cheaper, easy to find, faster to tie and untie, less bulky, reliable.

I actually prefer the Tac-Ties to the Malice clips now. There not so bad to use after a bit of practice, and they're a lot more flexible/ less rigid in use, which can be useful.

I'm probably using about half and half Tac-ties v Malice Clips at the moment across all of my bags, and am not planning on ordering any more clips

I got a H1 waistpack recently and the guy also sent me 1 Tac Tie and 1 Malice clip.

Is an alice clip the same as a malice clip? 

The malice clip looks useful for more permanent attachments but the Tac Tie as Dave said is more flexible.

Dave, while you're here, what attachment do you keep your camera in? Mine is permanently in my bag and currently lives in the side zipped pocket. I would like to get it out of there to give me more space

ALICE = All-Purpose Lightweight Individual Carrying Equipment

There are three general modes of attachment in the MOLLE arena, they are "Natick Snap", that uses a polyethlyene reinforced webbing strap with the 'pushthedot' snap for security. There is the polymer "Malice" clip developed by Tactical Tailor as an alternative to the Natick Snap concept, which interweaves like the Natick Snap but terminates in a semi-permanent closure that requires a screwdriver/flat tipped object to disengage.

I've only ever seen the Malice clips as opposed to the "Natick Snap" type Alice clips, I think they've pretty much replaced them (simply based on the fact that I only ever see Malice clips for sale).

I'm using the "Clip-on PDA Phone Holster" for my camera at the moment, but this may change when the Jumbo arrives, as I'll need somewhere to put my phone!

In military surplus store they are sold by the dozen, except when I'm looking for them :/

With alice it's just a slide in, then a click, and they're set.
