Its still July and MTO is a big four years old so here's yet another giveaway for you :D

The winner will get £15 of credit to spend in my store Neil Bee's Hive of SAKtivity  on EDCS.

Here's what you need to do to take part.  Just tell us what's your favourite item you've bought so far from any seller on EDCS.  Pictures and links are a bonus but not essential.

I'll assign a number to each post and the winner will be picked at random at the end of the month.

Don't worry if you've not bought anything yet, you've got until the end of the month :tu:

I'm not taking any more mod orders at present, sorry.

So far my favorite purchase on EDCSource has to be a 1965 Wenger Standard Issue in red alox. I got it from Rick Kirkpatrick who is in Canada and treats you well when you buy from him. Here is a photo slide show of the knife.

I think I have the distinction of having made the very first purchase on EDC Source - do I win a prize for that? Oh, OK then, in that case, my favourite would be this baby:

http://www.edcsource.com/100170,auction_id,auction_details

It is an amazing bit of kit and lives shackled to the shoulder strap on my Maxpedition Pygmy Falcon. I stuck a looped lanyard on the Micra, so I can quickly access it by yanking the lanyard - cool huh? :D

If you can avert your eyes from my belly, you can see it on the shoulder strap in this pic taken last weekend :P

If I win (which I won't because I never win anything on here) I know exactly what that 15 quid is going on too as I subscribe to Neil's shop and I get an e-mail every time he lists something. Some nice things went on today I noticed ;)

Cheers for the chance Neil

  • Rule #9 - Never go anywhere without a knife.
Being involved with explosives since 1963 the PMEX (Personal Mines Extraction Kit) caught my eye and I won the auction to boot.

It would have to be the White Commander (the one I was trying to get everyone else to bid on  :-[) very glad I won that in the end as I've ended up carrying it on a regular basis since.
