I hate this forum. I hate you Girls/Guys.

I impulse buyed my first alox... a Soldier, with a '08 tang stamp.
I won't stand a chance against the alox knives from now on... Please greet a new Aloxaholic! ::)

I've bought a kitchen present as well. :P

Small collection of SAK's, (but growing rapidly. :D) not so fast at this time. :( And the most important of all: Ze Zuper Zoldier by Steve!  :ahhh
Wishlist for 2014: Rangergrip 88, Victorinox: CT41, Spirit X BO CC, Swisstool X BO, Some limited Alox stuffs and so on

These two beauties came with the mail last week. :D

A old Wenger knife and a Explorer with the Victorinox Globe shield for the Saudi Arabian market.

They were (especially the Explorer) in moderate condition and it took me a lot of work to restore them.

I didn't know about that Victorinox Globe. That's how they sell to Muslim countries? All of them or some of them?

This shield was a Saudi Arabian Market design since 1989 and has been seen on 58mm and 91mm models of Victorinox knives.
According to Victorinox customer service in Ibach, these knives with this type of shield was ordered by a Middle Eastern country that does not allow the cross religious symbol.

Nice. I like the bird in front of the mountains symbol more.
You know, Red Cross symbol is the Swiss flag inverted (Jean-Henri Dunant was Swiss and Red Cross started in Geneva). It would be very interestng to see SAKs with a Crescent symbol, or the others (Crystal, Lion and Sun).

The Wenger Commander has the regular Wenger cross on the front.

The Jewish Tinker lacks a cross; however I have a number of Israeli Vics that have the standard logo on the back.

Here are a few other Mideast SAKs; a Recruit with the Turkish flag, and a couple of Secretaries with Arabic ads for Felca and West End watches. The Vic Classic flag series lists a number of Middle East Countries, but I've never been able to get ahold of any.

won a Hercules on ebay today

i really like those fold under phillips drivers, did they try them on the smaller knives at all?
I wish!!!

I'd love to have a small, inline phillips driver under the scissors in a Compact, or an Explorer...

My understanding, though, is that it can't be done, but one of our illustrious modders here would know for sure.

Putting a thin philips tool in the scissors layer is on my list of todos.  There is just barely enough room, but I 'think' it can be done.

I'm so glad I've not been afflicted with alox cravings. I just like the corkscrew, awl and scale tools too much  :)
