My Micra Was Taken Away!

 I had to take my mother to the hospital to meet my father who is having health problems. Before we left the house a paramedic saw my Blast hanging on belt and let me know about the metal detectors at the hospital. No problem, I left my Blast and a Beer Barrel Boker stockman that I had in my pocket at my parents' house.

 We got to the hospital and I put my keys, cell, money clip into a basket and walked through the detector. No problem. After we were there a while Mom and I got some lunch and when we returned to the detector, I places mentioned items into the basket and right away the officer picked up my keys and told me the "knife" had to go back to my car. As we were standing there a guy walked up and handed over a folder that was at least 3" or more and the officer placed it in a plastic bag. I started to complain about what happened and the officer's boss heard and said he could bag and tag it like the other guy's knife. What a LOAD Of Crap!!

 I told him the most dangerous weapon know to man was the human brain  

 When I left the hospital, I picked up my Micra. I told the guys at the desk I was there to pick up my "weapon". They were not amused until they saw what was in the bag. One guy just shook his head and smiled as he handed me my property. Good Times.

 A pair of scissor to help me out during the day.
 A nail file to help me out during the day.
 A cap lifter to help me out during the day.
 A mini knife that I forget is even on there 'cause I choose to carry something bigger.

Sawman you think you have it bad. Every day I carry my Gerber Shortcut I risk having it confiscated and getting fined as it is illegal to carry a knife in public in Victoria Australia. The funny thing is I don't think the streets are any safer because my 54 year old Mum has had to take the SAK Classic off her car keys.

65 is this a new thing in Victoria  . In South Oz I happily carry a MT & or a knife. .

A buddy's brother is a Sargent with the SA Police , I am going to ask him about knife carry in public & flipper knives.
