Wembley......and paracord
on: August 23, 2010, 08:39:21 PM
Anybody got any paracord ideas for a hip flask?
I don't use a hip flask normally, but my home town Rugby League team Warrington are off to Wembly (again   :2tu:) and so am I.

It would look cool to have some paracord wrapped on it somehow: as it is now just plain stainless steel finish, but the curved shape of it has me a bit baffled.

If not;  just wish the 'Warrington Wolves' all the best for this Saturday and I'll be your freind forever!!!!..........

I tied some glow-in-the-dark cord around one of my flasks a couple years ago, using a turks head knot.  If the flask is curved, I suggest first wrapping some grip tape around it to better hold the knot work in place. ;)

Thanks Stormdrain, nice classy work there. My flask has a little 'lip' at the top and bottom which could help slightly to grip any work done....I think.

all the best.......... go warrington!...  what were we talking about?

RUGBY LEAGUE!  It's tougher than the other "code" of Rugby Union (where the ball spends more time in the crowd than on the pitch)

I'ts a bit like American Football........but without all the safety helmets and padding..........oh, and you can't pass the ball forward either.

Thanks for the support friend  :salute:

At least I have one friend  :(

Do they allow booze in Wembley?

I hope so, but I'd be checking if I were you!

Oh yeah - but you have to buy it there. It's over-priced, p1ss weak and the queues are long, but you can buy it :)

I was at Wembley twice this year with the Villa, although the first trip was a bit of a wash out as I was in the early stages of renal failure :D

I used to come here a lot.

I'll take a chance on the hip flask - as I won't pay £4 on a smal plastic carton of frosted horse p***

I think the "No Alcohol" is aimed at the Stella Brigade. I shall be discreet - at least for the first half.

Thanks for the good luck wishes - I'm getting exicted  :ahhh
