Seriously, it takes a minute to create a photobucket account and they even create forum friendly code for you to copy and paste under each picture/thumbnail.

Can't help with Flickr, never really got on with it.

That is the big advantage of that light sucking lens you've got :D  You really should save for a good tripod next though.

That's one of the levitating pigeons that float around the UK.  Do you not have them?

Ours can levitate, but must use Newtonian laws of physics...For every force; there is an equal but opposite force. Thus ours jettisons copious amounts of bird feces to achieve levitation. I note the UK pigeons must be upgraded models.

Nice pictures! I like the one of your watch a lot  :tu:

But you have made a big mistake... A 50/1,4 lens is about the best you can get out there for relatively less money, and now you know what difference a good lens makes. You will start spending money on good lenses, expensive lenses  :ahhh (I started spending lots of money on good glass for my camera after buying a cheap but excellent 50/1,8 lens about 10 years ago. I just couldn't live with the quality of my cheap lenses anymore...). Good thing: good lenses will last, and you can use them for years. I still have that "old" lenses I bought back then. Changed my camera 3 times, but didn't have to buy new glass for it  ;) (Same goes for a good tripod, you only have to buy it once.)

Yeah I think I'm just discovering how much it can be to get decent stuff lol!  I'm going to save for a while for the tripod as that's one thing I want to get right first time, ill also get a remote to go with it

Ahh well gotta have a hobby =)

Wait till you get the wildlife fever if you think glass is expensive now.  >:D

Just be careful or you may end up with a lot of equipment. There are diseases like lens-a-holic, upgradeitis, etc, to watch out for. Lucky for me, I got cured a few years ago...

Something can be said for buying used lenses as well.  All of my lens purchases have been used ones.  I get mine from KEH.com and look for their BGN rated lenses.  They say they are at about 70%, but I can't really find a flaw on mine at all.  The one I use most is a Nikon 28-105mm 2.8-4 Macro, and it has paid for itself many times over.  It may not be a "pro" lens, but it does what I need it to everytime.

Some Pro lenses are junk also. It is very important to do a lot of research before buying anything. Every line has its lemons so to speak.
