Why is it doing that?
BIG thanks to MT.o and Leatherman

Perhaps you've stumbled on a couple of my ranting posts about how I'm unhappy with the Greek distributors of LM and the level of warranty service the provide...
Perhaps you've wondered if Leatherman or other manufacturers visit our forum...
Well, here's the answer to both! I was contacted by LM USA the other day and was informed they were aware of my issues and they would have a speak with our distributor. Amazed as I was, this was but the start of it, as I was also offered a
brand-spanking-new
Charge TTi
free of charge
!
What more can a customer ask of a company?
I just can't tell you how grateful I am to both Leatherman and this site so I'll just resort to:
THANK YOU Leatherman and Multitool.org!

Leatherman is so awesome, dude. They really know how to keep customers for life. It seems like today, in this country, companies are bloodthirsty, and willing to do literally anything to make as much money as they can. It's nice to see a company be LOGICAL and POLITE and behave CIVILLY! You know everyone who reads this thread is going to be that much more loyal to Leatherman, so it makes good sense business-wise, and even better sense people-wise.
to LM!

That is awesome! It makes me proud to be from Oregon
This is why I tend to give Leatherman's as gifts.

Cor blimey that was awfully nice of them
This why we keep handing over our money to a responsible manufacturer who actually gives a smurf long after the sale has been made; I tip my hat to you Leatherman
BTW I too am unhappy with the Greek distributors of Leatherman and the level of warranty service the provide
Just PM me for my address please Leatherman; I've got a TTi though so a MUT will suffice

Good one. I'm happy for you!
And definitely, this is a story to remember when comes the time to speak about warranty, customer service, etc. of brands versus... well... this is another topic

I won't go into details but suffice to say that LM is coming through in more ways than I could ever expect. Once again I'm extending my intercontinental transatlantic thanks and salutations to the Oregon bunch.

You know, it says a lot that I'm not hugely surprised by this. I actually expected some resolution.
Now if you're still reading Leatherman, can we speak about the
racketeering
pricing policies of some of your international distributors.......
Pleased for you Nikos
I used to come here a lot.
