Howdy from South Carolina.
on: February 20, 2011, 09:01:17 AM
This is Hammer saying hello to everyone here at MultiTool.org.  I love to fish a lot and hunt a little, so that leaves me needing knives and multitools on a daily basis.  After I bought a couple of cheap knives and multitools and had them tear up on me, I decided it was time to do a little research and get some quality equipment.  The research led me to Busse and Busse kin knives, and Leatherman, SOG, and Victorinox multitools.
Now that I have realized that you have to spend a little more money to get quality tools, my fishing and hunting trips are no longer plagued by equipment breakdown.  Now I can concentrate on fishing rather than worry about breaking my teeth while trying to cut a piece of 20 lb test fishing line.
I am the proud owner of 3 good knives, a RatManDu by Swamp Rat, a Dumpster Mutt LE by Scrapyard, and a kuhkri Machete by Cold Steel.  I will be replacing the Cold Steel Machete with a Busse Battle Mistress very soon, and then I will have the MINIMUM number of knives that I need.
As far as multitools, I have a Leatherman ChargeTti (the seclusion from Cabela's), a Leatherman Supertool 300 in Black Oxide, a SOG Powerlock with V-Cutter in Black Oxide, a Leatherman MUT (not the EOD), a Victorinox Swisstool Spirit, and I have just purchased a Leatherman Wave that I am expecting to get here any day now.
I also have some of the smaller multitools - Leatherman Squirt PS4, a Leatherman Squirt ES4, a Leatherman Style CS, a  Leatherman Style, and a Gerber Shortcit.
I have figured out that one cannot own too many knives or MultiTools.  That said, I look forward to talking with the good people here at MultiTool.org!!!

Wow! :tu:

So what's next on the list? :pok: :D

I have purchased a few more, so rather than go back and forth to see what I have already listed, I will just give a completed list of my collection here.
1. Leatherman Supertool 300
2. Victorinox Swisstool spirit
3. Leatherman MUT
4. Leatherman Wave
5. Leatherman Charge Tti
6. Leatherman Surge
7. SOG Powerlock
8. Yesterday, I bought a Victorinox Spirit Road Tour that I have not received yet.
Then I have my smaller ones - 2 squirts, a Style, a Style CS, and a Micra.  I don't think I've left any out.
I love everyone of them, but it seems like everytime I put my belt on, the Charge goes on next.  I will eventually get them all in the rotation, I suppose.
