Today, the postmaster had a package from Peter for me. A first run Croconut.
The Croconut is the latest Atwood tool. SAE alligator open ended wrench on one end, various SAE sized hexes in the handle.

Since today is a farm day, the Funnybone came off and and Croconut went on the keychain.
Well, I couldn't help myself. I had to find something to test it out on.
The first thing to present itself was a slightly loose and askew exhaust pipe on the tractor. Out came the Croconut to remove and refit the exhaust clamp. Anyone who's worked on exhausts before knows they can be complete fiends to unbolt due to heat, corrosion and crude. In this case, the Croconut worked perfectly.
Walking around, I realized I had never replaced the worn out wheel on one of the wheel barrows. The bearing had rusted out and let the wheel wobble around. I had the new wheel, but unbolting the bracket is always a rusted up mess, so...
But today, I decided to got at with...
The Croconut Again, it made quick work of it. The fact that it has a significant arm on it helps tremendously. In fact, it would be very easy to put a cheater bar on it for added leverage.
So, after removing and replacing a bunch rusty nuts, what was the damage to the tool?
None.
In short, this a serious hardworking tool, well worth consideration for those who want to wade into the Atwood pool.
