Multi-pliers in my head
on: March 12, 2011, 10:26:28 AM
Just when I thought I was happy back with the Vic Swisstool I keep craving MP 400/600 series tools  ::) I've got another MP400 on the way and I'm seriously thinking of getting another 600 when funds permit .

The old school ones are pretty nice.  I've played with Allan's :)

I'm not taking any more mod orders at present, sorry.

Someone made a grab at your low hanging fruit? :o  That sounds potentially painful. :-\

Back on topic. ;)  I've been genuinely impressed with my MP400 and 600, far far higher quality than some reviews might have lead me to believe.

I'll concede that there are some aspects to these tools that might not suit some people, but that's more a question of design priorities rather than poor design or manufacture.

It sounds like the 400 or 600 is the Gerber to go for.

Yes I would say so . Old designs but still in production and serving in all kinds of conditions around the world .

Of the ones I've had my hands on I'd say so, but I'll be the first to admit I've not handled every single Gerber out there.
