Request for SOG implement measurements
on: May 25, 2011, 08:04:44 PM
I've decided to mod one of my non-SOG multis and was considering using one of SOG's implements. Could one you fine chaps tell me the measurements of the V-cutter, wire strippers, and pivot screws?

These would also make great additions to the SOG tool list sticky btw...

I can't get you precise measurements since I don't have a micrometer at home, but I did a non-measured breakdown of SOG vs LM parts here: http://forum.multitool.org/index.php/topic,25286.msg457163.html#msg457163

If you're trying to put SOG parts in a Leatherman, you're in luck, they are quite compatible with a bit of modification, I can get you some better measurements tomorrow most likely, but we'll see.

Thanks for the input mate. I'm not looking into modding a LM for that part, but I might be able to get something out of that thread of yours.
