Another newbie from England
on: June 03, 2011, 01:01:41 PM
Been browsing for a while but thought I would say hello.  I seem to be getting more hooked on SAK's as time goes by so this seems a good place to be.

Thank you for all your kind greetings,  I suspect the vacant slots in the collection will  be filled in the near future then I will be off looking for a bigger piece of driftwood.

Welcome to the forum. What kind of nails did you use in that ? I really like that   I may have to make me one.
If I remember correctly, wait, what was I saying?

I did have a go at knoting but never really kept it up, just tend a the same simple lanyard (can't remember the name) on each knife now, I like having a bit of cord to ease retrieval from the pocket.

Cheers for that, I used blued carpet tacks as they are readily available in the UK and look quite rustic.  Quite fancy trying some horse shoe nails but haven't looked into it properly yet.
