That looks sexy in an old fashioned way. :tu:
Apart from the file, which you can replace I assume, it looks very nice.

After very little thought (good price) I got a smaller SOG product (paladin)

It may be small but in the trousers department it is exacly the same size as its bigger brother...

.. though the bigger brother is a bit big headed..

I have not been in SOG mode for a while but have managed to pick up a few more pieces. Passed on a couple nice ones the other day and have kicked myself several times since. First off a couple P3s. A Edmonds, Wa. with satin finish instead of matte  and a TiNi. Crossgrips satin and TiNi

Whoa, a few of eye-openers there David! :tu: A PPP with shiny finish and an Edmonds, Wa. stamp? I didn't know there were any done like that  And that's the first time I remember seeing that sticker on a Switchplier :o

Bob the stamp on the PPP is light and hard to get a pic of. Here`s a shot of it. I`m thinking the SwitchPlier was one of later production. Perhaps the sticker on the SwitchPlier was added later after lots of warranty claims? The SOG product booklet in the box had a 2003 date on it. It also has a Phillips screwdriver instead of a 1/4 inch drive adapter.    :)

Thanks David :) Any signs that the PPP might have been polished up by some previous owner after leaving the factory? (the partially "erased" stampings make me ask)

The 1/4 inch drive version of the SwitchPlier indeed came first. :salute: I suspect you may be correct regarding that warranty claim / sticker theory. :-\

Bob, I went and looked it over a little closer and it is a possiblity. There seems to be other hints of a little to much time on the buffing wheel. But the inside of the handles appear to be satin finished also. I went and looked at my PowerPliers which V1 matte V2 satin V3 satin from Edmonds, Wa.. The PP satins are similar to the PPP. With the exception the the stamps are a little better. Altho one of them has a light stamp. At this point I cant say for sure. I`ll study it some more when I have more time.
