I figured it was worth a shot

How's things state-side  :dunno:

I've always really liked Kershaw designs, should be a cracking light carry. Give us a shout in future if you are going to make a Heinnie order and I'll see about hooking you up with a 10% off code  :salute:

Not there yet, our beloved hedgehog took ill in the latter part of 2022. Between her medical bills, the holidays, and sadly her final arrangements, money has been a passing ship in the night.

Thanks, I've been fortunate to not deal with loss of life much in my life and this wasn't expected, so some days easier than others. She'll always be with us

The Mrs ordered me a four pack of patches, I really only needed two but if ordering individually they were like $8 each, but if you ordered the package you got four and was only $12 :dunno: so why not? So basically order one get one half off and get one for free :dunno: cause the one I didn’t need and the one is an extra for someone else, oh well,

I have three on their way to me. A Case large Stockman, carbon steel with Amber Bone covers. A Case Trapper, carbon steel with yellow (delrin?) covers. And finally a Case Trapper, stainless steel with black and green micarta covers.

 The wait is killing me.

Japanese-made Myerchin Rigging Knife, I believe an early/Gen 1 version of the smaller sized 3 5/8" closed Crew.

I can't wait to see how this one performs. Interestingly enough, not only the marlinspike is released by the shackle, but the blade also uses the shackle as a lock release.

I still think I'll add the Gen 2 Pro, as it is much lighter due to Ti scales (2.5 ounces), has a pocket clip, and it has frame locks for both blade and marlinspike.

Well, my oldest ordered me a set of the titanium toothpicks.  I figure that they'd go well with my Alox MiniChamps.
Should be here tomorrow.

Here’s my Gen 2 Ti Crew.  As a knife, it is only just OK.  I’m not a huge fan of the blade shape or steel, and the larger Captain fits my hand better.  But when ounces count and a marlinspike is needed, this just might be the lightest folding marlinspike on the market…

That double frame lock looks great. Have you tried it yet?

Oh yes.  I’ve actually had it for a while; I only posted it here because Cody mentioned it.

I generally have it or one of my other marlin spike knives with me when I go camping with my son’s Scout Troop.  It comes in handy when young scouts do things like tie knots in their hammock straps…

It certainly is, I've owned so many folders in the last 20 years it's insane. They certainly are an addiction
