No.. not the tool itself.

the thing (alx) is so nice and new it's almost a shame to put it thru the same routine the ole wave has gotten the past few years. ::) Blades still sharp, still tight to open, no blemishes. Guess i'll have to cope. ;)

i bet those of you with the ti handled ones are momentarily hesitant to brutalize it after opening the box the first time.

I was fairly aggressive with my TTi, and the handle scales held up pretty well. I don't know if the AL scales would fare as well, as I don't have one of those (yet  >:D ).

I intend to put my Skeletool CX through the ringer too, so we'll see how it does. I am not abusive with my tools, but I use them when I need them.

 Yea, it's never easy to really use that shiny new tool for the first time.

After they get a few unintentional bangs, it's easier to ignore the rest :D
