Hello!
Two Skeletool here. The first, of the first version, was a gift from my wife, stainless steel and smooth edge. The second, the CX version, I got and it was already a habit.
I used the first one a lot at work, at that time I was more in the field, and although I doubted the geometry of the tool, it proved to be very effective

Temperatures due to rise above freezing again soon, but for now, it’s a cold Skeletool Sunday in Derbyshire.

Skeletool family still growing.
Sadly I can't get myself to really carry them: I always have a real knife, so this model really lacks additional features to be really useful... but the design is so cool  :hatsoff:

You meant lacks any additional features for you :D

I have carried the Skeletool plenty on weekends and it handled my cutting needs as good as any dedicated folder

Glad to see you Skeley collection growing :woohoo: :like:

Absolutely:
It is a great substitute for a proper knife and adds pliers, but it doesn't add much when also carrying a knife because the blade being very good isn't as relevant

That's true and I always made it a point to not carry another bigger folder when carrying mine :salute:

Been having some good luck the last few days finding misplaced tools. A Workchamp then today in the garage my Skeletool.

This one is special to me because it was purchased while In Afghanistan and was carried on my first ever MTO Challenge.

Doesn’t hurt that I was on my sharpening game when I did this one and it is by far my sharpest LM. Which is weird considering how thick the blade is. Maybe being a 154CM blade that I swapped in helps.

I bought a Skeletool pretty early on.  I didn't connect to it and either gave it away or traded it.  I ended up getting another one this time a CX.  Initially my feelings were the same as before.  I'm not sure I was not bonding with it.

Fast forward, I love my Skeletool.

The Skeletool is a great tool and one I didn't think I would love but happened to win one here at MTO in a contest (the one pictured just above yours that is now signed  ) and I was a convert 8) :like:

Its one I gravitate to when I want both knife and plier but don't want to carry say a Charge and pocket knife.  Its enough tool for most things.
