Nichia Light at Costco.com ANYONE??????

Don't know much about nichia, other than that they make bulbs. Anybody know anything about this set?

I need another micra like I need a three legged water buffalo, but I could always give it to my wife. What's about the light?
Doing a little reading it sounds like Nichia's a California company....is it too much to hope that the light is made in the US?

I can only tell you that it looks like a POS to me. Sorry, I know that's not very informative.

Nichia only makes the LED, not the light. It looks very Chinese to me. I'm not a big fan of Nichia LEDs either, as they usually have a bluish or purplish tint.

I could. it came with the CORE I bought about a year ago. It was a decent light. Not as bright as my new ARC but a little brighter than a maglite solitare.
