Thanks,  grabbed one, what a deal!  Up until now though, I'd never bought a new
"gritty" tool out of the box before. :)  I canned it and a little oil and it seems much
better.

Yea I just got a few new Gerbers and they are a bit gritty. They are more stiff than anything. Is that how all Gerbers MT's come from the factory?

Gawd crappy tire makes me mad sometimes.  Went to two locations, no octane. No help finding a location that has one in stock. Found a location on the website that claimed to have one, they did not.  Looks like the sale is over but I grabbed a rain cheque from one of the first locations and found yet another location claiming they have three in stock.  Going to check after work today, hopefully they will honor the rain cheque from a different location.  For $20 the octane is awesome, however for regular price I do not consider it awesome at all. Wish me luck!

Yes, not sure when the sale went on but i had to drive to another city and only to pick up the
last one.  It's nice but I'm glad I didn't pay more than 20 for it either.  You get a bit spoiled
with higher end tools.  It's a light duty multi for sure.  Thin steel, a bit of a sticky lockup on
both blade and tools but worth what I paid.

Score! The hassle was worth the good price. One left at this local if anyone wants me to grab another

Holy smokes I'd be upset if I paid $60 for it but it's a nifty little tool otherwise.
