I have several of them and don't carry one as much as I use to but still love how well they are made and have used my user one quite hard when over the years :tu:

Also I am not sure I have ever seen a Supertool from Marlboro :o I have seen the PST ones but that is all :salute:

Pruning duties today and the OG ST was with me as an onlooker while the Friskas did the job.

Got used earlier to cut a rope to make a lanyard for the Friskas.

For starters, during what period were they assembling ST200 tools with “USA” ground out of the plier head?  What channels would generally receive those shipments?  I know a date for PST’s and Juice models, just curious what is known regarding ST200.

The time frame is the same. Not many ST200 had the USA stamped on the plier head to begin with but I believe I have seen an example or so here at MTO but that was likely before 2010 or 2009

I believe they just started doing all the plier heads that way, first because of the California ruling and second because they were probably a bit Salty because of the ruling  :D

This needs a deeper dive for sure.

The ST200 came out just around this case was being had. It may have meant that none of them had to be ground. I have recalled seeing Tool on a few OG STs over the years as well but that could have been warranty work :salute:

When did ST retire?  : and When did ST200 launch?  Do you recall?  I’ll have to go check old product catalogs.

The last year of the OG and the first year for the 200 was 2001 :salute: not sure the exact month but with the way LM did and still does certain things,  I would go with May of that year

Thx.  That is consistent with my findings on PST.
