PunchCAD : 10 out of 10

I am a DIY freak. I like repairing ond modifying things. And then I like Multitools and knives.
To make something, whether it is new or just a modification you need more than just pen and paper. I have been playing with several 3D programs, but the one is more difficult than the other ond more expensive than the term än arm and a leg". Few can draw a plan as well, except expensive CAD programs. I have tried several and gave up on quite a few because the interface is too difficult....

Then I discovered ViaCAD Pro 7 of Punch software.

What an experience. I learned the program mostly by just watching the tutorials and after only six days I made my first plan for a knurling tool. I also plan to design a survival lighter, a sharpening device for serrated edge blades and a sharpening tool to make precision sharpening possible with a big sharpening stone. I plan to make the plans available on this forum for others to copy as well.

The forum members patiently answered my questions on the Punch forum and I am very satisfied with their product. I add two forum threads that will show my thoughts and include a picture that says more that a lot of words. Thanks again to Punch Software who made my ideas came to reality.
