SwissTool WireCutters?

I EDC a Swisstool today.. It went pretty well.. I used it to open a box and cut a wire tie.. I noticed the Swisstools finish scratches fairly easily and why do the wirecutters have two notches? I read that post before and I forget!

The notch deepest in the jaws is for hard wires.  The other is for softer wires like copper.
