I just registered my G-Shock and they extended the warranty a extra year. There is a section that states this.

"The Casio America Timepiece Extended Warranty Policy stipulates owner be original purchaser of the product at the time of registration to be eligible. Purchases made through third-party resellers are not eligible for extended warranty offers of any kind."

Now I am not 100% sure what they mean. Do they mean this watch must of been purchased directly from Casio for the extended warranty to be valid? I bought the watch through Amazon. Is that considered a third party reseller?

I bought my 350 from Amazon, and when I registered it, they added 2 years!!

I know. You are not understanding the question though. They did the same for me on both of my G-Shock but it is contingent on you having a receipt (which Amazon does not provide) and it cannot be purchased from a third party reseller. I am trying to find out if buying from Amazon is considered buying from a third party reseller?

for an Amazon receipt,  all you need to do is go to your orders, select the order in question, click on order details, then at the top, click on "View or print invoice"   it is a legit receipt

I do not think Amazon is a third party seller,  but I am not 100% on that
If I can help, let me know

I do not have a printer, but if I needed one for a warranty that is very good to know. Thank you.  :tu:

Wearing the GD350-8 and loving everything about it. Expect a review in the near future. Maybe a week or so after it sees some more wrist time.

If you have to, visit the library and print it,  but Casio might also take the amazon order number, or the pdf version of the invoice.
I have used it for something important before, though I cannot remember for the life of me what it was.

I did not buy the watch with the intent to ever use the Vibration alert. I am going to be testing it over the week, but I doubt I will ever use it. One thing I knew before buying and one thing that could be better (for me) about the watch is the selection for alarm signals. I wish the selection for the alarm had Vibe+beep or just beep without the flash. Sadly neither of these options are available which (for me) is a bummer, but it is not a huge issue.

I'm pretty sure 3rd party retailers are non authorized retailers that fall into the "grey market" category. Amazon, if they are selling for Casio and not Bob's watch hut, will be an authorized retailer and all warranties will be in place.
Always on the lookout for Blue Alox

My Core is back on duty after I replaced the broken strap on it yesterday. I have not been wearing it for a few months.

I don't take it from my wrist. What else can you ask from a watch? And if you ask for more there are Ambits, Ds, Essentials. But none is nicer than an all black Core in my eyes. Since I got it I have nothing new to post here.
