Powerlock plier tightness?
on: January 09, 2008, 01:31:42 AM
On your SOG multitols do you like to loosen or tighten the bolts on the plier head. I like mine tight because when it is loose like that when you swing it open it hits your hand.. HBU guys? Like the handle tightness or looseness

I've got mine at a nice "sweet spot" so when I flip them open, they open about 2/3 of the way.  Then I can either give it another little swing to grab the other handle, or open it using the side of my leg.

I had that with mine as well.  My supertool is very loose, but it still doesn't hit your hand when you flip it open.
I'm back!!

yeah, all the Supertools get really loose fast. I just use a tone of Locktite on all my tools with the knurled screws ( not exactly sure the name!). BTW, 600 posts!
