UK Member saying hi
on: December 26, 2011, 04:03:59 PM
Hi All,

Basically a Leatherman an SAK user.  I have a Leatherman Surge, had it for about 6 months and just love it (but not the premium leather/nylon sheath it came with) and a SAK Officer.

I don't carry the Surge in public due to UK knife laws, so the SAK is with me all the time.  I am wanting to by a UK legal leatherman, so i am considering either a Squirt PS4, Style or Style CS, what are your opinions on any of these.

Hope to post some pics soon.

G'day & welcome Murph  :D :D.

A Leatherman kick might be a option with it's non locking blade & there is also the earlier/retired PST & PSTII that also have non locking blades if you still wanted to carry a larger multitool

welcome to the forum from one UK member to another. :salute:

there are a lot of options for you for uk legal carry mate. on the small side you have the micra, style, style cs, style ps, and all the of the squirt series. if you wanted to go a bit bigger there is the juice series which are a great option. and then a bit bigger is the knifeless fuse or the kick. and thats just from leatherman.

i personaly like the LM juice series. the S2 model is my fav and its a great size for the pocket. i also carry a micra on my keys which is always handy and everyone should own one IMHO.

welcome again and have fun.

Howdy MurphyBrown!

Hi, thanks for the welcome. Any idea where i could get hold of a style ps, i thought they had been retired.  Also didn't relise that there was such a choise of other MT's.  Now i've got to re-think my choice.  :)
