Turn the pockets inside out when you wash your pants.

I'm offended that you offer a solution that involves diligence & effort rather than throwing money at the problem.

well i carry in pocket if i dont have belt.

i carry surge or powerlock and i think theyre full size tools.

sometimes i even remember to put a pocket clip in my surge :D

but the comfort of the pocket carry really depends on the design of the trousers mostly.if u wear some eighties heavy meatk stretchy jeans i think u only wish that the bulge caused by multitool would be in a better place :D.

i use mostly construction workers pants from L G Brador or BLÅKLÄDER,and military ones, like BDU,M-65 etc, they all have big comfy pockets and loose fit.

I don't actually get lint as such, I think that probably comes from having kerchiefs in the pocket?

Hmm, come to think of it, I don't think I get much crap in my pockets at all. Saks have always fared just fine.

Okay, new line of action - how to stop Surge wearing through pocket like so much change.

You're a crazy sort aren't you Nomad ::)

I usually sheaths carry :) but depending where I am going and what I am doing I pocket carry ;) Per Benner's praises of the Sack-Ups I carry some of my MT's  :multi: in them :D I like to carry my BO :ahhh !!!MINI!!! :ahhh in a small Sack-Up and it seems to be keeping the BO from rubbing off in my pocket :o Either way I can carry a MT with sheath or pocket
I even pocket carry my Wave sometimes  The Swisstool though may have to stay in it's sheath
because everyone knows how unweilding they are ::) :D

 Cheers to the 1 that resurrected this thread

When I carry a Full size I carry either a SOG in its case in my pocket or a USA made Schrade Tough Tool in my pocket.

I can fit almost any kind of multi into the pouch in my wallet.

Does an Alinghi count as "full size"?

I pocket carry my Swisstool on occassion.  I carry it in my back pocket next to my wallet.  It rides vertically, and it works.  I usually carry it on my belt, but for the times I DO carry it in my pocket, back pocket carry is the way to go.

I have carried a Charge or a Spirit in my front pocket. Actually a pocket holster for a small automatic works well. It keeps the tool upright and won't slip when you "unholster" the tool. Lately though I've just switched to the Skeletool.

I prefer belt carry but on the times It has to be out of sight then I dont mind deep front right pocket carry but the tool has to be in its sheath .

Depends on if skeletool count as full size or not, it's the heaviest I can take in my pocket.

When I wrote this, I was originally thinking of tools that were larger than the Skeletool.

Then no, too heavy.
