Used the file on my Charge to take a little off the pins and bushes of this Vic Compact to fit new scales:

Then a couple of Crunches to apply a bit of pressure whilst the quick-drying epoxy went off:

Seems to have stuck them on well enough, I guess time will tell, lol.

I'm sorry your Crunch's have gotten stuck to the SAK.  I hope they can be removed safely!  :ahhh :ahhh :ahhh :ahhh

Yeah - it's heavy, but in a good way!

Breathes a bit of life into a tired knife doesn't it?

Yeah I think I'll give the Space Pen a miss! I looked at some others though - there are quite a few copper pens out there.

I had to scratch off Bluetak (the 3M version) that was holding a Porsche 356 miniature replica, drived by Scroodge McDuck (I'm nit kidding). It was installed under my car's windshield for 12-13 years, so part of the material was completely hardened and stuck as a white poweder. I didn't want to scratch the car's plastic. So, after removing the excess with PocketWrench II, the only plastic "scratcher" I found in my EDC was the bottom edge of a Leatherman bit kit holder! It worked perfectly. The car is as good as new. If you need to scratch something delicate and sensitive, I recommend it, over any steel tool you may have.

I had to track down why my dryer wasn't hearing up this morning. Turned out to be a thermal cutout fuse I had replaced some time ago.  I suspect it was an inferior (or defective) replacement and the dryer ran almost non stop yesterday getting laundry caught up...me and my 2 boys take at least 2 showers a day, plus whatever my wife wears...lots of laundry and I hadn't done any for a few days!

Anyhoo....I needed a few Leatherman boys to get the job done.  The medium flat blade on the 300 EOD was used to release the clips holding the front panel on the dryer...the Wave didn't have anything to reach that far!

After that the Wave and my homemade 1/4" bit holder was used to remove and replace all the screws.

Repaired a light fixture's bulb holders with the new Rebar.  One side was turning on delayed due to some corrosion acting like a delay resistor.

Also, applying some double sided 3M red to hold glide feet to two dining room chairs.

Get use to this tool for a EDC

To scare the crap out of Milo, my Yorkshire Terrier. I dropped my Surge (in it's leather sheath) on the hearth stone in front of my fire this morning and he was asleep in the chair next to it.   He wasn't impressed at all, but enjoyed the few treats I gave him for scaring him.

I was trying to pick up too many things at once and that one slipped. The irony is I'm not carry the surge so put it back anyway, I'm going with the rebar and pioneer to get used to not having the surge on me, ready for the September challenge.  I feel kind of naked without the surge on my belt.  Though it's nice knowing I have one in my car should I need it's awesomeness  :D

Yes. It is.

It's looking a bit rough, it could do with a skim.

Or you could see if you can dress the surface with your wave file

First use of rebar with bit extension today, to change the batteries in my wireless mouse at work. I don't like the retention of the bit adapter on the philips driver of the rebar.  I'm thinking a mod in the future and add the bit exchanger from a wave/surge.

I wonder if Loki has any in stock

I have never had any problems with mine and I have used it for years now :salute: A bit holder would be good for a lot of people though but I like the dedicated Phillips best :tu: Loki usually has stuff like that in stock I would shoot him a OM if you really want one

I noticed them, but thought there's life in it yet  :D

If there is anything like here, they run them till they fail. Which I find surprising considering they are hauling a couple of hundred tons of slag or pig iron around at a time. Needless to say they get right of way everywhere

The adapter is one I bought for the Juice XE6 but I'm guessing they are the same ones for the rebar.

I've got the saw/file adapter off a surge coming from Loki to see if I can mod it to fit and lock in a rebar. If I can get it in I can bin the saw and make more room for other mods.

Spot on. This mine site I work for now is 90% Autonomous. In other words All their haul-trucks has got NO drivers. (290t or 320 short ton.)
Its very hard on the brakes. If there is a emergency or safety breach or any problem all trucks on site gets shut down by the main control point or the radars around the trucks. That is an immediate dead stop. The disks spin at plus minus 24000 rpm. Not good for disk and pad to stop that quick.
We do brakes every day. Did I mention that we do brakes everyday?
Yes that disk is still new. Will post a picture of a not so new one later if you guys want to see "hairline cracks". And lots of them. We change them normally when it gets too thin or a slit from top to bottom.
