Haven't used the bit extender in the Crunch, yet. I would think the connection in the tool with the bit extender would be a bit dodgy. How did it work out for you?

It works fine for me, but to be honest, this was a reasonably light job.

The bit extender and bit set are used with the Crunch, a Wave and a Skeletool and come in handy  for a variety of odd jobs that can be done within the time it would take me to get "the proper tool" from my tool chest :tu:
But if the job at hand requires a lot of torque, I will usually use another tool ;)

Borrowed one of those PowerWheels type of cars for toddlers and after fixing a couple of things I got the remote for it... the remote didn't work.

Just like the one we already had the batteries had leaked and mucked things up pretty good so I got it apart and a bit of cleaning on contacts it was good to go power wise.  The antenna was missing/broken.

Bent the mounting tab back in place and globbed some solder to a long paper clip covered in some flexible sheath thing I had lying about.  The snipped portion of a screw anchor took up the slack.

Oh, leatherman?  Came in handy for the cutting tasks.

Sorry, no pics. This weekend I used my Black Oxide Wave to open several beers, scrape old team stickers off of football helmets, and used the scissors to trim my sons mouthguard several times to improve comfort. We won the championship!

Been a day or two since this thread has had a visit but I used my PST to disassemble cigar boxes. I'm using the lids to make a wall on my back porch. I'll burn the bottoms in the chiminea this week while I sit outside an smoke in the evenings.

I used the flat screw driver on my LM XE6 to change a UK mains plug, the drivers could do with being a little bit longer as the UK plug has three pins the tool catches on them ::)

Used a LM Crunch to swap the plier head from a Supertool 300 into a Surge.  The locking plier function is a bit like having an extra hand (one that can grip really, really hard  :tu: )
